About Me
I am proud to offer my expertise as a performer, educator, and musician to you or your student. I am certified to teach and have experience teaching in a professional setting in the following areas: music, reading, and math
I have performed internationally (multiple locations in France and Italy) as well as regionally (in New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas), and nationally ( in New York City ) as a vocalist in roles such as Le Feu, Le Rossignol, Hansel, and many others. I have been a paid soloist for major works such as Handel's Messiah.
I have a BA in vocal performance and a MA in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting. I have played classical guitar for 12 years and studied under the acclaimed guitarist and author Ambrose Rivera. I have been playing piano for 20 years. I was a member of the piano studio under the Manhattan School of Music Graduate, Dr. John Olsen for 4 years. I have won several awards as a vocalist and studied under Dr. Jason Vest and Dr. Jean Ornella's, a finalist in The Metropolitan Opera Competition.
